Josiah’s Ode to Autumn

A blog post by Josiah, the poetic Yorkie

I love the autumn season. It’s one of my favorite times of the year.

Last autumn, I was a baby puppy learning all about farm life.

This was me last year when I saw my first colorful autumn leaf.

This autumn, I’m a 17-month-old Yorkie who can appreciate and make the most of this beautiful season.

This year, I’m a grownup Yorkie who loves to explore the autumn meadow.

I like to create seasonal poems to show why I enjoy a certain time of year.

Here is my new poem about autumn:

All the leaves fall down

Under the night sky I pounce

Tickle-time cuddles on chilly mornings

Upside down squiggles in my blanket fort

Meandering through the leafy meadow

Nice scent-filled breeze on a sunny autumn day.

I hope you liked my autumn poem. I hope it inspires you to enjoy this beautiful time of year.

I hope you are enjoying a great autumn season.

Slurps and squiggles,

Josiah

Being a creative pup always makes me sleepy. I bet I’ll have a fun dream about jumping through the autumn meadow.
