As summer is winding down, I’ve been reflecting on how much I’ve enjoyed this season. So I wrote my very own Ode to Summer.
Sunshine swishes in the grass
Umbrella shady spots by the pool
Meadow bugs and scent of deer
Many lazy backyard evenings
Eating slurpy watermelon
Roly-poly cuddles all summer long.
