Hi! I’m Josiah, the happy, comfy Yorkie puppy. I’d like to share some of my favorite things I use at home.
I’m an 8-pound Yorkie, so many of these favorites are sized for small breeds. If you have a larger pup, check sizes and breed/age recommendations before buying!

Everyday Essentials
These are things I use every day to eat, drink, and stay happy. Miss Janet keeps them ready for me, so life runs smoothly!

Puppy Food: This is the food I eat every day. I love it, and it keeps me happy and healthy!

Liver Treats: These are my everyday training treats. Miss Janet keeps them in her pockets. They’re freeze-dried, one ingredient, and easy for puppies to digest.

Meaty Littles: These are special treats for when Miss Janet wants to teach me a new trick or just reward me for being such a good boy!

Water Bowl: I’m an active puppy, so Miss Janet puts water bowls in several places. She got me three of these! They’re lightweight but sturdy, and the stainless steel keeps me safe.
Toys & Enrichment
I love to play! These are my favorite toys for chewing, tossing, and cuddling. Each one keeps me busy and entertained.

Kong Puppy Tire: I love to chew, toss, roll, and growl at this one! It’s held up to my toughest chewing, and sometimes I get treats in it. But most of the time, I just play with it as is. (Remember to supervise me while I chew!)

Hurley Bone-Shaped Chew Toy: I go to town on this one and haven’t made a single tooth dent yet. I also love carrying it with me everywhere. (Supervise me when I play, of course! And choose the right size for your pup.)

Rope Balls: I love chasing and retrieving these! They’re not really chew toys, so Miss Janet always watches me when I play, just in case I try to nibble the fibers.

Puppy Plushy: These plush toys were my absolute favorites when I was a tiny pup. By the time I was nine months old, I got a little too rough, so they had to be retired. But for those first months, they were perfect for play and snuggles. They come in different shapes and colors and have a lavender scent that made me feel calm.

Medium Duck Plushy: I loved carrying and tossing this one around for a long time. I had to retire it when I started going after the squeaky, but it was my favorite for months.

Large Duck Plushy: I still get to play with this one. It has a squeaky, but so far, I haven’t tried to bite into it. Miss Janet always keeps an eye on me when I play. It makes a nice crinkly sound too. It’s almost as big as I am, but I love to carry it around.

Teething Rings Chew Toy: This one helped me a lot between six to eight months old. The textures felt great on my teeth, and I chewed it all the time. As I got stronger, I had to retire it when it got ragged, so remember to check your pup’s toys as they grow.

Fillable Kong Treat Toy: I love rolling this one around to get the treats out. When the treats are gone, I try to chew the ends, so Miss Janet sets it aside till next time.

Lick Mat: I love this thing. It keeps me busy and happy while I lap away. Miss Janet gives it to me when I need a little quiet time.
Grooming & Care
Miss Janet likes to keep me looking and feeling my best. These tools make grooming easy and comfortable.

Coconut Oil: We had a scary ice storm this winter, and Miss Janet rubbed this on my paw pads so they wouldn’t get dried out. It also makes it easier to get burrs out of my hair!

Whisk: Believe it or not, this is the easiest way to remove ice and snow from my hair. Just one swipe, and it’s gone without painful tangles. Makes me feel so pampered.
Clothing & Weather
I wear gear for all kinds of adventures! These coats, shirts, and wraps help me stay comfy, safe, and ready for whatever the day brings. I look stylish too!

Winter Coat: This reversible coat keeps me warm outdoors. It even has a pocket for treats! Easy on and off with Velcro and fits with my harness and leash. Best part? I look adorable in it.

ThunderShirt: (I have an earlier version; this is the updated model from the same brand.) I haven’t had to wear this one yet, but it’s ready for me just in case I ever get scared of thunder or loud noises. Miss Janet has used it with a pup before, and it helped a lot!
Puppy-Proofing & Home Safety
Miss Janet wants me safe while I explore the house. These items help puppy-proof our home, so I can zoom around with less chance of getting hurt.

Cable Management Box: Miss Janet uses these to puppy-proof our home. She doesn’t want me chewing on cords and has taught me to stay away from these. She says to get a box that’s big enough not just for your power strip but also for all the coiled cords.

Outlet Plug Covers: Miss Janet says these are part of puppy-proofing our home. They keep me from being tempted to mess with an outlet.

Stair Treads: When I first learned how to do stairs, Miss Janet was nervous, but these carpet treads have kept me steady and give her peace. They’re renter-friendly too.

Couch Steps: These help me get up and down from my favorite spot on the couch without a big jump. Miss Janet says they’re great for small pups like me. We small dogs like to sit up high so we can see what’s going on. These steps are sturdy for me, and I learned to use them quickly.
Training & Safe Spaces
Learning new things is fun, and sometimes I need a little space of my own. These items help me play, rest, and explore safely while I grow.

Playpen: This is my castle! When I was a very young puppy, it kept me safe while Miss Janet was busy. Now I can run in and out (the door rolls up!) and enjoy playtime or chill time. I love having my own space, and it’s held up to all my zoomies. It even helps me wind down before bedtime. It’s just the right size for a small pup like me. (My doodle friend, Beauregard, would need something bigger!)

Tether Leash: I used this when I was a young puppy. Miss Janet was teaching me how to free roam in the living room but didn’t want me wandering off. It was also great for when we stayed at a campsite.
Travel & On-the-Go
I love adventures! These items make it easy to take me along safely and comfortably wherever we go. More favorites may come as I discover new ways to explore.

Backpack Carrier: This was the easiest way for Miss Janet to take me places when I was a very young puppy. I would fight a little as she zipped it. But once inside, I settled against Miss Janet’s back. I stayed safe, comfy, and didn’t try to chew it. She just had to close it quickly, and we were good to go.
Home Comfort (Pup & Human)
I love snuggling and resting. These beds and blankets are perfect for me. Miss Janet says she loves them too.

10″ Zinus Mattress for Human Bed

Low 3″ Bed Frame for Human Bed
Zinus Mattress with Low Bed Frame: As a puppy, I still sleep overnight in my crate. But Miss Janet says when I get older, I can sleep in the human bed! She got a low bed that’s the perfect height for me. The 10-inch mattress and 3-inch frame means I won’t have far to jump. She also says it’s the best mattress she’s ever had. I think it’s a win for both of us!

Human/Dog Bed: This bed was my Christmas gift from Miss Janet. She and I can curl up together for chill time. I love it, and she says it’s comfy for her too. The one I got is out of stock. But if you want something similar, this one looks just as cozy.

Fleece Throw Blanket: We pups love our cozy blankets! These are small and easy to place around the room, and I love cuddling in them. Miss Janet says they’re super easy to clean too.
Thanks for checking out my favorites! I can’t wait to share more soon. I hope your pup enjoys them as much as I do.
Paws and wiggles,
Josiah
